It might seem small in comparision to the big problems we face, but it truly is a powerfull way to express ourselves and create positive ripple effects into the fabric of life. That is why I also work a producer, so that more and more consious music and musical medicine can go out into the world. I specialize in heartfelt creations and offer a fully guided and safe space for you to create. There are many studios with more equipment and perhaps also knowhow. However, spiritual music needs a different aproach. For the recording of my album, River Lullabies, I was looking for someone who was not only technically strong but also could sensitively and creatively move with this kind of music. The music consists of a delicate, subtle soundscape with improvisation, guided meditations, and natural sounds, and requires someone who can truly contribute ideas and develop them together during the process.
Michiel is a very talented musician and artist himself, and that immediately becomes apparent in our collaboration. He listens attentively, contributes creatively, and is willing to keep exploring and adjusting until we are both completely satisfied with the result.
I feel very comfortable and at ease working with him, and his studio is also a wonderful place to make music. I am very happy with our collaboration.
We recorded our first songs with Michiel. The recording process felt safe and secure. Michiel made us feel safe, allowing us to express our best selves. The result (5 original songs) will soon be released on Spotify and on an EP. We look forward to collaborating more. We have a few more songs in the works.
